Hi, I'm Randy Davis, founder of Concept-Engine.
Our mission is pretty simple: We add value to our clients through excellence in consulting, design, and service. We do this by primarily by listening. In order to solve problems and innovate, we first must completely understand our client’s needs. We also ask questions to help us understand your unique requirements. When we understand the needs of the business, then we can provide unique insight and direction from our knowledge base and experience. Clear communication and documentation of the project is key. We believe in cultivating solid relationships built on mutual respect with our clients and contractors. Most of all, we have a big idea: great design doesn’t have to be out of reach.
About Me
I have over 24 years experience in the field of design. I studied Industrial Design at The Columbus College of Art and Design and graduated in 1998 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts. I started my career as a product designer and quickly began to branch out into other areas including graphic design, branding, and web design. Since 2005, I have been working as an instructional designer creating eLearning content for J.P.Morgan Chase bank. I was promoted to Vice President and recognized by my peers as one of the top instructional design consultants in the firm. In early 2022, I decided to leave the corporation and become an independent consultant.
On a personal level, I am a minister and Marine Corps veteran. In 2016, I wrote and published The Bible 101, a small group Bible study curriculum. I enjoy traveling in the western United States and hiking in National Parks. I like to ride my bike and I can still hold my own on the basketball court. I live in Lewis Center Ohio with my wife Gayle and our adopted son, Tatum.
